M4 Party

I haven’t been getting in much kiting lately.. and its driving me crazy! But I was able to go and shoot guns with my friend Tyler and his Dad, and his friend, who are both police officers. We got to shoot M4′s , hand guns and a Magnum 44. I also learned to walk and shoot, and did really well. They were impressed with my skills !

Currently I’m attending university here in Michigan. My girl friends and I love to take photos, because its fun and frankly, we are bored. We have been using a 1970′s Minolta film camera and just experimenting. we’ve been doing a lot of black and white, but will definitely test out color. Here are some photos from the past month taken of me.

Today my friends and I decided it looked windy enough to fly some kites. It was windy but not enough for what we wanted. We tried to use my Flexboard to kite along the beach. Since it wasn’t too windy we messed around with flying kites and I taught them how to fly the trainer. here are the photos!

Kiting Lake Michigan

Today was my first day kiteboarding my home beach! can you believe I grew up on the water and have been kiting for over 2 years and NEVER kited at home. My best friend Jen and I packed up my Dinghy and rode through the pier heads with excitement, as we headed towards the “kite” spot. we could of driven but we thought it would be more fun taking a boat.
When we got there, a kiter was self rescuing because the wind had died, so we grabbed his board and brought it in for him. I rigged up my 11 anyways just to test it out. I had a little power but couldnt stay upwind so I came back in. I then , made good friends with Marcus! who let me use his gear. I rode a 15 M and my wakeboard and had such a fun session. I also rode with two other guys named Rusty and Paul who were super awesome and kept the stoke high. Cant wait to keep riding with the local crew.
Bikini Car Wash Fundraiser

My friends and I hosted a bikini car was this past sunday to raise money for a stolen kite. a month ago someone stole my 5 M Fuel along with my purse, wallet, phone, Ipod etc etc in it. I didn’t own the stolen kite and must pay for it. We have a stong kite community here and were able to raise almost all of the money. Here are some photos! Big thanks to:

All Good in the Hood

Had a fun session today on my 7M Fuel and Pearl 134 Wakeboard. I’ve found that fin-less wakeboards pop so well and so easy!! I love them. The wind was really good today, not too gusty or too windy. kind of perfect for the Gorge! Enjoy!!
