MAUI MAI TAI EVENT

I recently was lucky enough to fly to Maui for an event called MaiTai kite camp. The Mai Tai camps are hosted by pro kiter and superstar Susi Mai and famous VC Bill Tai from Silicon Valley. This event is so unique bringing together kite addicted Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and VC’s converged on one of kiteboarding’s epicenters, Kite Beach, Maui. Guys who started google, facebook, farmville, and many other from various companies have all come together to kiteboard.

It was such a fun event, meeting tons of interesting and exciting people. Susi and Bill did a great job putting everything together, with fun activities everyday to great parties at night.
I made so many cool friends within the guests attending, and the Pro Kiteboarders who came to kite and support the event. I made a new best friend named Erika Lindberg! she is from Sweden and currently lives in Tarifa. I also had a fun time hanging out with Cameron Dietrich, Jesse and Shawn Richman, Susi, her boyfriend Tom Court. It was really cool to ride with everyone.

I am so stoked to have met Erika, we ended up staying in a treehouse for the week. such a fun time!

I was just wondering if you knew why Kristin Boese isn’t invited this year? She is for us in the Unite States, the leading female representative of women in kiteboarding along with all the women such as yourself that are and have attended in the past.
